Bullfrog Spas

Bullfrog Spas is a premium American hot tub brand, founded in 1996 and built in Herriman, Utah. It is best known for the patented JetPak Therapy System, interchangeable jetted "packs" that let owners choose their own massage seats and move them around the spa. Bullfrog Spas sits in the upper-premium tier of the UK market, having arrived in British showrooms in 2025, and its appeal is a hot tub that can be personalised seat by seat and upgraded over the years rather than fixed at the point of purchase.

What makes Bullfrog Spas different

The JetPak Therapy System is the reason to look at Bullfrog Spas. In most hot tubs the jets are fixed into the shell and fed by pipework behind it. Bullfrog instead builds the jets into removable packs that slot into the seatbacks, with up to 16 massage styles to choose from. An owner picks the massages they want, moves them between seats whenever they like, and can swap in a newer pack years later without replacing the tub.

There is a practical payoff beyond personalisation. The design uses far less internal plumbing than a conventional spa, which means more usable jet power, fewer potential leak points, and better heat retention, so running costs tend to be lower. In WhatSpa?'s assessment, this is a genuine engineering difference rather than a marketing one.

The Bullfrog Spas range

Bullfrog Spas organises its hot tubs into tiers. The M Series is the flagship, the largest spas, with the most JetPaks, the broadest seating layouts and the most advanced controls, built for buyers who want everything. The A Series is the core premium line, offered in several trim levels and the widest choice of sizes; for most buyers it is the sweet spot between customisation and cost. The STIL collection is the design-led option, clean lines and an open-plan layout suited to contemporary gardens or indoor installation. The X Series and newer Calm range are the more affordable lines: they keep Bullfrog's wood-free construction and efficiency credentials but use conventional fixed jets rather than the interchangeable JetPaks. The models available are shown below.
